Quartets prep for annual showcase

FOSTORIA – The Fostoria Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is to present its 51st annual show at 7:30 p.m. April 27 in the Performing Arts Center at Fostoria High School. The show, titled “As Luck Would Have It,” will include songs by the Fostoria Lake Plains Barbershop Chorus.

The show also is to feature a guest quartet, Four Man Fishin’ Tackle Choir. The group fashions itself as “the country’s premier sportsmen’s quartet.” Chapter quartets also will sing in the show. Paragon and Esprit de Chords will be there, as well as newcomer Recycled and the returning Archive.

Adult tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. Tickets for students are $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

Tickets may be obtained by mailing a check (payable to Fostoria Chapter, BHS) and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Bob Manz, 225 E. TR 42, Tiffin. Orders received after Friday will be held at the ticket window for pick-up.
