FNL, tribute band coming

Tiffin’s Ritz Theatre is offering two musical performances this weekend.

Friday Night Live returns to The National Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The artists include Chelsea Frey of Upper Sandusky, Scott Franklin of Cleveland and Jim Gill of Westfield Center.

All seats are $10.

“Satisfaction The International Rolling Stones Show” is to roll onto the main stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Equipped with authentic costumes and instruments, the musicians are to play the band’s most popular hits as they recreate a Stones performance.

Ticket prices range from $10 t0 $25.

Family Fest set for Saturday

The annual Family Fest is to break out Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Tiffin YMCA.

This free event features COSI interactive exhibits, demonstrations, prize drawings, emergency vehicle display, animals, crafts, food, a balloon launch, Safety City and open swimming.

Auditions set for ‘Aladdin’

BUCYRUS – Bucyrus Little Theatre is holding auditions for youths in grades 3-9 for the musical “Aladdin” at 1 p.m. April 13 and 5:30 p.m. April 14.

The audition will include singing, reading from the script and moving on stage. Prepared songs are welcome but not required. Production dates of the show will be June 14, 15 and 16.

Soul-rock band to perform

Tiffin University is to present the soul-rock band Winslow at 8 p.m. Friday at The Viaduct. TU’s rock-funk band DFX and vocal group Up in the Air are to serve as opening acts.

Winslow, with a blend of soul, rock and pop, is touring to promote its new CD release, “Left of the Right Direction,” which has been featured on Guitar World, and

Winslow has shared the stage with Incubus, Earth Wind & Fire, OAR, Robert Randolph, Keane, Mat Kearney, Rusted Root and others.
