The Read It – See It Film Series offering for January is a screening of “Charlotte’s Web” at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Wilbur the pig, Templeton the rat and Charlotte the spider learn about friendship, trust and love. When Wilbur is sold, Charlotte saves her friend by convincing the farmer Wilbur is a special pig.

Concert choir to sing for MLK celebration
The Concert Choir is to participate in Heidelberg’s Martin Luther King Day program at 11 a.m. Jan. 22 in Ohl Concert Hall on the Heidelberg campus.
Sharon Perry-Nause, director of institutional diversity and assistant professor of management at Tiffin University, is to offer a call to action.
Humane Society Bash coming to ballroom
The Humane Society of Seneca County is to stage its annual benefit bash Feb. 2 at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom, Bascom.
Doors open at 7 p.m., with Wally and the Beavs providing music for this bring-your-own-beverages-and-snacks event. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
Free local cab service is to be available.
