Being idle doesn't add up for retired Terra faculty member | Advertiser-Tribune FREMONT – Since January 2014, a retired faculty member from Terra State Community College has been serving as president of a national mathematics organization, affording her opportunities to travel and represent community colleges. Nancy Sattler, dean emerita at Terra, has been with the college since 1983, when she was hired as a part-time math instructor. Since then, Sattler has been the dean of various departments, and helped bring nursing and online education to Terra. "Throughout the years, I have worked with most of the faculty at Terra," she said.
